John Timm

John is a Principal Scientist at Gilded. He has over 20 years of experience under his belt working in Information Technology and the Services Industry. He has held several positions for multiple technology firms including, IBM, Hemisphere GPS, and Impact Media Labs. During his nearly 15-year tenure at IBM, John worked as a Senior Technical Staff Member and Development Manager and served as a Senior Software Engineer before that. John also served over five years as an Embedded Software Engineer and Software Team Leader at Hemisphere GPS. He possesses a wide range of expertise in Computer Science Research, Model-Driven Architecture, and Large-Scale Data Integration. He is also well-versed in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Healthcare Information Technology, and Agile Development Methodologies. John earned his M.C.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
